Hibster.
and now all he does is organise mountain bicycle trips in the high peaks of the Surrey Mountains hence his need of a Landy to carry all the ropes, karibeners and stuff for base cample Supercheese R250 Caterham pictures here 😬
Delbert
Apparently he is trying the first ever ascent of Box Hill without Earl Grey Tea this month. Currently in Training in a secret quarry just outside Theale. However he has a funding issue in that the Royal Society are claiming that the asscent needs to have a Sherpa but the Count does not have access to an LDV van so is taking a Navigator instead. This will be set up in a Base Camp with a communications centre , well a car park just south of Sutton from which his ascent will begin. This is not the first time the asscent of Box Hill has been attempted by this individual though. 6 months ago he narrowly avoided death when attempting to asscend the South elevation One of his Cylce clips got caught in the pedal of his Rayleigh Chipper 😳. It was only due to some quick thinking from a Mr Percival Blunt (82) and his wife Gladys(79) who were walking thier Daschaund Fritz along the footpath that sacved the day. 😬 If at first you don't succed Sky diving is not for you
Delbert
News flash... Base camp is getting worried about the food situation, The burger van in the car park closed at 7.00 and does not reopen until 10.00 tomorrow, the remaining food is being rationed . But a life saving mission has been launched by one of the team . He is going for a long walk and may not return but his aim is to reach the 24 hr Tescos and save the mission 😬 If at first you don't succed Sky diving is not for you
Hibster.
It's OK, there was a spare delivery slop with Occado so he's now got a good supply of Roquet, brie, and a nice Chablis that should allow him to survive the harsh conditions found at 86ft above sea level on the A33. Just as well he's upgrading to a Hummer so that he can take on the South Downs without air support It's a harsh world out there in Southern England Supercheese R250 Caterham pictures here 😬

henry21p
See if you can get him to give you a frosty stare, that might chill the Chablis suitably

Delbert
Well dispite all the odds they have made it through until morning...... (actually they got Taxis home and back again after a steam room and a shower) So at this early hour the asscent is on, The last Smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel has been packed for emergency supplies and all the support team have been searched for Earl grey Tea . One supporter was found to be smuggling some loose tea in his tobacco pouch. He has been shunned by the rest of the climbing community. So they have set the first trail and are now ascending the first dangerous section of the famous Box Hill car park exit..... They will take thier first rest at the bench under the first group of Oak trees , this is still a dangerous mission, whilst no life has actually been lost in the area adjacent to the car park, much has been created. So as our brave adventurers continue up the mountain lets keep them at the front of our thoughts. Pray that they do not have another incident with the OAPs who frequent the foot hills and that they manage the climb. It is anticipated that the climb to the ascent will take 12 hrs, where upon they will set up a overnight camp in the viewing car park before setting off for home tomorrow If at first you don't succed Sky diving is not for you Edited by - Delbert on 14 Jan 2007 11:26:
