cain-it Posted January 10, 2005 Share Posted January 10, 2005 Hi Dave, I'm interested in your exhaust. From your description it should fit my '96 Caterham HPC VX 2 liter . It's injection (LHD) which may make a difference. I have a few questions... Who made the manifold? When was the silencer last repacked How old is it, in what condition, can you send me some pictures? Has it got provision for the EUC probe? Has it got provision for brackets that go from the manifold to the engine block ?(my current standard CC manifold has these). Where is your location? I've noticed that good condition 2/3 year old parts normally sell for half the new CC price . They recently quoted me 595 quid for a full 4-2-1 system in SS complete with fixing kit...so would you accept 300 quid if it fits my car? Cheers before hand. DaveK Posted January 10, 2005 Author Share Posted January 10, 2005 Hi Sean Alex contacted me 1st by phone so i've really got to give him 1st refusal. The manifold is a bespoke manifold made by Exhaust by Design and is of far higher quality than the std caterham type, hence the price as it cost over £500 for the manifold alone.
