Tyrone Posted January 5, 2005 Share Posted January 5, 2005 Mark, My car is an early de dion, as such the top of the damper comes through the chassis and the roll bar. The boot cover has a small ear which sits over the locking nuts and spindle. Later de dion dampers fix to the chassis internally (does that make sense?). Anyway, a dim from the nominal centre of the damper spindle to the nominal centre of the roll bar upright should tell us if we are close. I think you've officially overtaken Anthony Burgess as single greatest supplier of parts for the rolling restoration of 'Sepp'.
