Posted December 25, 2004 Author Share Posted December 25, 2004 Yes, due to a quirk in the old county boundaries Hitchin is actually legally in the old county of Angus just like, errhmm, Dundee used to be. This issue was caused by a very late night game of 5 card brag that Lord Hertford lost to the Earl of Cupar and hence had to pay over the parishes of Walworth & Ickleford to the Earl.
