Delberts Wallet
Any recommendations on a brake balancing Valve, best place to buy and Hints on fitting one. The reason I'm thinking of fitting one is that I can't stop my rears locking under heavy braking. I've replaced the front pads with EBC Green stuff bu this made little difference. I'm going to bleed the brakes sometime this week so I tought I may as well fit a balancing valve while I'm at it. Thanks Gareth Hmmm. Peter Carmichael
I would recommend getting one of the click position types so that you can at least get repeatable settings. Fit it under the bonnet so that it doesn't accidentally get knocked. On the scuttle bulkhead or the bac of the pedal box is typical.

The Pied Piper
Yes, get one with click stops/positions, that way you can always go back to a definate setting and fitting it out of reach of the driver will discourage you from trying to adjust it whilst driving! I use a Tilton lever arm type, be careful of the treads though, I came across a Wilwood one that where dealer had supplied a UNF adapter screwed into an American thread that was neither UNF or Metric, it nearly fitted but not quite, frightening really!
