Delbert
Well, the bonnets out for obvious reasons. But with the FIA bar to hold on to and the spare wheel to sit on it would be technically possible. Perhaps I wouldn't remove the tyre aand assembly after all don't want to reduce chances further 😬 Too Old to die Young
Barbarella
Oh you are a mucky lot 😳 After we had completed the paperwork we went to Pizza Express in Caterham for an early lunch, which has become a sort of tradition, every time we go there, from that very first magickal day when I was taken on a mystery tour to order Barbarella I. Then we did a little shopping, including some Christmas sweeties for the peeps in the Caterham showroom. Then we set off back to Portsmouth, avoiding the M25, via the A22, B2038, B2110 and A272 before rejoining the A3 (not the M3) at Petersfield. The roads were damp and very greasy, so on new tyres, Fletch was taking it easy. I followed in 'Moo', our trusty diesel Escort, wishing I could be with him. It was getting dark, too dark for piccies, when we arrived home, but I have got one of John in Barbarella II in the layby on the A22 when we stopped briefly to confer about our route home. She is now comfortably tucked up in her cosy carpeted garage and hopefully tomorrow the sun will shine and I can go for my first little blat around Hayling and Havant with some last minute Chrissy card deliveries. thank you all for your good wishes on our new arrival. Debert
BL *eek*MIN ECK ❗ Okay - i've never liked ice skating much - But on four wheels 😳 The roads are BLIMMIN greasy, not more than 5,000 revs said the nice man at CC - No flippin chance there sunshine Wheelspin 1st on pullaway, wheelspin 2nd on change up, wheelspin on change up to third AND fourth ... and guess what ... fifth tooo... 😬 Greasy roads ... my 🙆🏻 ... some sods been out with a family size pack of wd40 and sprayed it EVERY-EFFIN-WHERE Great fun ... pity it's raining - So what ❗ Use it and enjoy it 😬 It's great to be the proud owner of the "Grinning Idiot" badge again - Didn't realise how much i missed it! Glad to br back in the land of blat! Debert
Oh yeah - I know all about the release agent Myles, one of me pals runs a firm that produces seals (o-rings - gaskets - rubber extrusions - etc) ... Oh no, that'll get Delbert, Ross and Magical Trevor going... Jen & I rebuilt their website after it got trashed by a frontpage crash.... Anyhow ... It looked like Avon had washed the blinkin tyres in grease, then rinsed the grease off with oil, and then rubbed wd40 in just to "liven things up a bit" 😳 Round to Tesco's car park tomorrow (if it's dry) to scrub them off a bit, and "test" the LSD tooo Screwed the sig 🙆🏻 Growing old is compulsory - Growing up is optional 😬 Click here to see the old Barbarella ... and the new one two 😬 Edited by - Fletch on 22 Dec 2004 19:18:
