allegro
I have just changed from ACB10s to CR500 tyres and am aware that I should also change the De-dion ears. Can anybody tell me if this is really necessary and what are the advantages / disadvantages if I do not. Is it a long job to change them overquestion.gif Thanks in advance Andy Mac
Peter Carmichael
Chances are that your ACB10s were running on a bit too much negative camber, so the radial CR500s will be about right. Certainly up until a year ago or so, they only made the 0.25 degree negative camber ears for the race rear brakes. This could have changed. A proper alignment check will let you know the camber you are already running and might be worthwhile anyway.
