henry21p Posted December 15, 2004 Share Posted December 15, 2004 having done my jury service and seen how many complete NUMPTYs were on the jury with me in a very serious case I can see how (if this was one), such things can happen. In the case we had - luckily, having heard the information on the people involved AFTER we decided who was guilty and who wasn't I reckon we got it right - even though we had to go for a majority verdict rather than a unanimous one. Go and put some soothing music on and for god's sake if everyone's so het up about it go and visit the chap wherever he is to cheer him up!
