Myles
Oh god. Not again... 😳 It's always the bl**dy sender. It's usually Mav that get's the call. I've got a better idea though - badger Mav until he promises to get a certain BB going again.... Project Scope-Creep is underway... moomin
It's always the bl**dy sender Why don't you remote mount your sender? It's less likely to get bashed and consume detritus. This is common practice on BECs as they tend to buzz themselves to death with the vibration. Apologies for being so sensible so early in the morning. moomin www.megabird.co.uk
henry21p
remote mounted mine and it stopped it getting bashed in by speed humps/stones. it then failed through god knows WHAT reason shortly after....
neil.cavanagh
but which sender? water temp? Oil Pressure? stupid georgie detective? so far in 18 months my temp sender has failed once (on M40 20 miles into a 2000 mile tour of Jockland... needle went into red and stayed there for next 1800 miles!) and the oil one is on the way out.. needled bouces around and reads low. Now, if someone from cheshire, for example, was to organise a bulk buy of all the bits for a mechanical system with a nice dual pressure/temp gauge and braided capillary hose rather than plastic that would be really really nice.... *thumbup*
