CHRIS CLARK Posted August 30, 2001 Share Posted August 30, 2001 Well, I had this problem when I fitted one to my 1400SS. Having removed it again I tested it on a 12V battery. U/S; and that was brand new from Caterham! Dropped in to Caterham, Kennet Road and got a new one FOC. It's only a jumbo LED so test it and if no go get a new one. You can just remove the multi plug from the Mems, short the positive lead from there (pin 17 ? .Can check mine in garage if needed!)to the battery and it should light up! Mick Day Posted August 30, 2001 Share Posted August 30, 2001 When Caterham did my S/S upgrade, many moons ago, the shift light didn't work.
