Ozzy
I currently have 15" wheels on my 7 (195/50/15). I keep hearing that 13" are the thing to have. Could somebody explain why? I'm not sure 13" would look right, as they would'nt fill the rear arches so well. Also, surely If I fitted 13" this would completely mess up the speedo calibration. I'm sure many of you have a personal opinion on this, but am I really losing anything??????????? Oz Still Shaking.
phelpsa
205/60 13 tyres have the same rolling diameter as 195/50 15 tyres. The 13s offer cheaper performance tyres and better handling (apparantly). Adam
Gambo
13 " wheels are lighter than 15" therfore less unsprung mass, also mass is closer to centre of wheel ( less rotational inertia so brakes will work better. jerrypike
ozzy- you'll lose a lot of unsprung weight on 13" rims-just pick up one of your 15's and a barmby 13 also the higher aspect ratio aids bump absorbtion jerry
