Alex Wong1697456877
Anybody out there got a DTA ECU for sale??? I'm looking for one of the old ones with the rectangular connecter rather than the newer EXP48's with two round connectors. Alex
The Pied Piper
Alex, Don't dismiss all DTAs with round plugs, the original units that preceded the one with the oblong connector had the two circular connectors like the newer Exp48, I know because I've had several in fact the one on my caterham has the two connectors and also I sold one to a friend. You are probably more likely to get this type on the s/h market, usually fetch £300 ish. I have a fair bit of experience with this unit so if you need any help please contact me. You can get the connectors and the pins from RS to make up your own loom. Regards, Martin
Chelspeed
Why not see this failure as an opportunity and take advantage to change to a reliable engine management system like MBE? Jason has a 967 for sale. Trash the map in it and fit a Vauxhall map and you're away. Loom mods to fit it is the difficult bit, that's where my cunning plan starts to flounder...
