prs Posted December 2, 2004 Share Posted December 2, 2004 OK, I have the following available due to upgrading. 1.6K engine developing 155BHP at 7200rpm and 120lb.ft torque This engine was rebuilt in March 2004 as follows Head ported and polished on both inlet and exhaust sides Standard valves retained but fitted with H/D springs QED 375 cams plus vernier pulleys Mike Satur head gasket New liners Pistons re-ringed New big end bearings Lightweight Flywheel and clutch Carefully run-in on mineral oil and Mobil 1 since. Mapped and set up at Mech repairs RR in Cheltenham, Emerald map available With an Emerald and DTH TB's it gave the above power, RR print out available. Has since covered 5K most of which was in France this summer just cruising in the sunshine!! Prior to the build the engine had done 9K as a genuine SS in my Supersport Absolutely mint and pulls extremely well throughout the rev band and still returns 38-40ish mpg on a run.
