Support Team Shaun_E Posted November 19, 2004 Support Team Share Posted November 19, 2004 Dry sump upgrade means I have the following for sale: Aluminium bellhousing for K series (fits 5 or 6 speed box) - £150 Caterham wet sump pan - £130 Also - Pair chrome 7" headlights - some rust around the bottom of the bowl but the relectors are in good condition - £30 The bellhousing is the original one on the car but I can see no damage to it. The wet sump is worn but there is plenty of metal left and no cracks. Pictures: Sump, Bellhousing, lights. Please note the lights will not come with the indicators or mounting - I just hadn't taken them off for the picture. I live and work in Slough - buyer collects or pays postage. Myles
So that's a standard bellhousing rather than the lightweight one then? (LW is magnesium alloy???) Keep BC free and open for ALL. Support Team Shaun_E Posted November 19, 2004 Author Support Team Share Posted November 19, 2004 I think it's a lightweight one. It's certainly much lighter than the one that we took off a friends crossflow last weekend. If someone can tell me the difference then I can be sure.
