Documentation / Manuals

I have a 96 1600 K Series engined Seven, does anybody know where I can get hold of a manual that would cover the workings of the car. I am quite keen doing a few bits and pieces myself, but have no technical documentation for the car. I found the Haynes manuals were pretty good on run of the mill cars - I don't know if they would do a caterham manual though. Also I have heard the Tony Wheale book mentioned - but don't know if this would cover the K Series. Also I didn't actually build the car so dont have the build manual, only the owners handbook which is a little light on information.

Any help would be much appreciated.

The Build manual can be purchased from Caterham for about £20, and it will have some info on the K. The Tony Wheale book doesn't include the K, but is worth having as is does include body, chassis, ancillary maintenance and loads of other useful stuff.

I would also get hold of a copy of a Haynes manual which includes the K. Do they do one for just the engine yet?

Haynes don't do a Caterham one.

If you have questions, post them here, they usually get answered quite quickly.
