Andrew Dent
Thanks for the response to Bleedin Brakes. Brakes back to levels before a thrash round Oulton Park. My next question concerns the pedal, and the initial soft movement, may be 10mm, before the pedal feels solid. There is now plenty of new fluid in lines and well bled. I am running a SLR with an AP master cylinder. Can you "service" the master cylinder and get rid of that initial movement. I have tried other pedals out and some have virtually no movement at all before that hard feeling arrives. Andrew
Mike Bees
The standard m/cs do seem to be quite variable. Mine was pretty bad, the expensive option of swapping it for the AP race version removed all of the slop. I did read somewhere about shimming the standard master cylinder to remove the slop, but I can't remember where. Mike
