Normans_Ghost
Can someone tell me if the K series flywheel bolts are the stretch variety and must be changed. Also, has anyone got the spec (sizes etc). TomB is coming over on Sunday for me to fit his new lightened flywheel and has ordered new bolts but they may not arrive in time. One more, anyone know if I can get him a centre plate in or near Sheffield. Delberts Wallet
Norman, when I change by flywheel I used new bolts as they come with thread lock applied to them. Not sure if they are re-usable or not tho. Best be safe than sorry. Blue and Carbon 6 Speed Supersport

Normans_Ghost
Anyone know what the spec is. I can probably get some in Sheffield, well I hope I can, it's the engineering centre of the UK, isn't it? F355GTS
Norman the other thing you may find is the threads in the lightened flywheel for the cover plate are different, most seem to be M7 but others are M8 Mark

mahatma
I know that DVA holds the flywheel bolts in stock ... might be worth a call in the morning. Even if he can't get some to you, I bet he'll help with the spec. Andy
V7 SLR
When going from a late 99 SLR flywheel to a current spec R500 flywheel, the clutch coverplate bolts were different for sure. Not sure if it was the age of the specific flywheel that prompted the change.
TomB
If someone speaks to DVA on my behalf, it may be worth asking if he has a CRB?
caterhamnut
As Mark says, worth checking Norman - he speaks from experience of ours, which were different. We checked with Caterham and others before, and still no one was right!! HUGE UPDATE ALMOST WITH VIDEO here 70,000miles in 3 years
Normans_Ghost
I've got 7 & * mm high tensile bolts in stock. I'll pop over to Rogers in the morning and help myself to more. I'll also ring DVA in the morning. Thanks everyone. Norman Verona, 1989 BDR 220bhp, Mem No 2166, the full story here
Englishmaninwales
Tom As you know I have recently acquired a 1400 lightened flywheel , and I can confirm the clutch cover bolt size is the same as that for the standard flywheel.
