daniel smith Posted November 9, 2004 Share Posted November 9, 2004 I have bought a set of wheels which have come off a JPE car. They are also found on SLRs and early R series(so I believe). They are 13 by 6 and 13 x 7 or 8 inches, split rim and five spoke. Could someone please confirm which wheels these are and hopefully where I can find a spare wheel for the front. Thanks. Chelspeed Posted November 10, 2004 Share Posted November 10, 2004 Sound like the wheels generally known as Superlite R wheels. Came either plain or rolled rim. Originally three piece then a few months later converted to two piece by welding the rims together to reduce leaks. Cast ally centres, spun ally outers. Pretty light in comparison to cast wheels.
