Will a Shedder be able to help me take my engine out?

Meldrew, We scruffy kids, in short trousers, and rolled down socks, looking just like William (except we lived on council estates) use to get the train from Clapton to Ware with our fishing nets and jars. Someone ALWAYS fell in and came home partly wet. If it was a sunny day we would lie on the grass drying him/me out.

From what I remember/guess the whole day would have cost a bob. (Thats a shilling in old money, or 5p in new). I just can't believe my Mum would have given me more that a bob for the day and god help me if I asked for money the next day.

You're welcome Chris, the garage is going to be cosy with all those people.

Think it reads better with "those" rather than "chose"

Sunday also gives the Royal Mail another day - I havnt got my bolts & CRB yet, despite ordering them yesterday morning. I ordered a clutch friction plate today from Redline - hopefully it will arrive in time *confused*

Mart, Ill call you. I may need to go via my flat in Chorlton were I left the new tax disk, so you may want to go separately *thumbup*

Just thought of a backup plan incase Royal Mail dont deliver.

If any one attending Normans garage party has a spare CRB &/or flywheel bolts, please could you bring them & Ill buy them off you.

Finger crossed Postman Pat comes!

If there are a few 7s around, we'd better make sure we get the right engine to take out!!

Ok mav, I suggested to Tom that if he left home at 7 he could be here for 8:30. The earlier the better. I'm a great believer in getting started early and getting the job done and waste time afterwards. Gives you some problem time without having to run over.

I'll get some soft drinks as well as some lager and beer.

But no ones touching my 25 year old malt. Not without a donation to NtL

HM's got a big fry up for lunch and I'll talk to her really nicely to make something for breakfast if we're having an early start.

By the way, I go to within a few miles of Tom (Prenton) and it takes me 1.5 hours door to door as long as I don't hit too much traffic in Glossop.
