Red SLR
My problem is the shift light is perminatly lit. I have spoken to Cameron who says it should be in pin Pin 8b. X777CAT Edited by - simon scott on 16 Aug 2001 12:55:
Brad Tipp
Sounds like you have it earthed inversely. Does it go out when you hit the rev point that it should come on at? Mike Bees
The 'other' (non-ECU) side of the shift light should be connected to +12v. The ECU pulls its side down to 0v to light your lemon. Mike
TorAtle
...and obviously you need to set the shift light rev point to a sensible value, ie not zero :-) Tor Atle
Red SLR
All this has been checked, spoke to Autocar and they said it is connected to the wrong pin, or, a bad or, the driver chip has gone upstream! If this is the case then a new ECU is needed, or a better idea cut the lights wires!!! And then get an Omex system! I will change the pin out over the weekend. Thanks Simon. Red SLR
Just been out to look at this, the trigger is currently connected to pin 6b. It should be 8b (which is free). I think this is my problem. Ta Simon. X777CAT
