Lee
Might pass on the nibble!!! 😳 Where is the best place to park? - me and KayCee need to rush off to a party in Chatham immediately afterwards.....
Violet Elizabeth
You are welcome to park at ours, 30 seconds walk from the Green. We are on the "restricted" Old School Lane but you can usually blag your way past if you mention you are visiting. Will ask Mrs N about alternate parking, as we have some visitors who are turning up after 5.30. Violet Elizabeth
Ah, tricky, best to park elsewhere methinks. The birth of the Gixxerham : pics here drivel here
Lee
I guess any car park should be ok then - probably best to check with the people directing us to make sure we can get out early!!!! Noger - where are you going to be, perhaps we could meet up somewhere?
Violet Elizabeth
Well, we shall probably be somewhere near the pub from 7/7:30 (depending on weather). More than likely the "far pub" the one furthest from the road. We usually pop back home for the fireworks, you can see them well from our back garden and it is better for the doggies if we are around. Will send my mobile number, but it is me and 3 girlies so they will probably complain about it being cold and being forced to drink lager out of plastic cups ! Lee
...at one point, it got so wet, it stopped altogether (until they rigged up a spare, dry, firing device!) And I couldn't get to Noger - it was too crowded. ☹️
