Support Team Shaun_E Posted November 1, 2004 Support Team Share Posted November 1, 2004 If you get desperate, I use a tester in Chalvey who has always been fair with his interpretation of the rules. He can get the 7 on the ramps fairly easily, knew my car didn't require emissions testing and also didn't fail with no side repeaters (he did check that the indicators could be seen from the side while standing at the rear of the car). No issues and very careful to the point of getting me to do most of the work !! Comments to one of the younger testers from the boss included: "Now this is someone who looks after their car" "Now don't piss about lad, just take a look at how its maintained" Very nice man indeed...oh and you just turn up, no appointment needed. p.s. just along from Bracknell Tyre and Battery if you need the tyres from the cheapest source known to anyone in the south east.
