Tarek
If I were to change from the good looking 16" to the better 13" wheels, what do they look like under the wheel arches that are already on the car? Do they just look a bit puny, or are they OK? Oh...and how much are a set of 13" wheels and tyres? Thanks chaps
allen
Purely a matter of taste, you can keep overall diameter almost the same by fitting 185 x 70 profile - which keeps ground clearance almost the same too. see topic hereI am sure it has also been discussed before if you want to use the search facility. regards, allen
Matt Sullivan
Yes, search through the archives and you will find this subject has been exhausted. I went through the 16" to 13" exercise a few months ago, and haven't regretted it. Totally transformed the car (I assume you have an HPC). They do not look puny at all underneath the wheelarches - if anything, the superlites on the rear of my HPC now look wider!. cheers, Matt.
old captain slow
Depending on your cars existing setup, you may have some minor hidden extras. I changed from 16" HPC running 205 x 45's to 13" 185 x 60's. Definitely need the adjustable platforms to get the ride height acceptable. Also needed slightly stiffer front end.
