Sootysevener
Just got a new glass polishing kit from www.thepolishingshop.co.uk after scratching screen *thumbdown*when wiper blade split. Millwood kindly sent me replacements pdq *thumbup*but they need trimming to length.. Q? What to trim with tin snips or junior hacksaw? Sootysevener
Thanks Pete The rubber's the easy bit as you say with a stanley knife. I was wondering how others cut the metal blade frame for neatest effect 🤔

Sootysevener
Thanks Paul - junior hacksaw did the trick - stopped the ends crimping over and after arub with 80grade and a dab of satin black plasticote its fine. Tinsnips caused crushing of the ends so too ugly too contemplate. Steve the secateurs not strong enough - tried the lopper but got nervous so chickened out and went for the hacksaw David 1989 1700XF SS with upgraditis
