domster
C'mon Dave, if Mr Painter ain't talkin' why don't you let the board know what you saw... Is it a Caterham, a Lotus or a sevenesque other? Any other details? Cheers Domster
olij
I'll try and reply to the basic questions on behalf on James (I know him and the car well) - he's busy finishing harvesting and can't get to a computer. Right, it was the car at castle coombe on monday (where Mr Greenway looked at it - any news?) but was not fitted with the new carbon fibre cycle wings and "bonnet" with reverse louvre. There are also other spare panels including a nose cone I believe. The car is road legal, not sure what year but is a Q plate, live axle. for further info I suggest giving him a call on his mobile, leave a message if he doesn't answer. regards Oli
Jason Plato
I expect the carbon wings and nosecone would further add to this cars individuality ???!! Dave
Rob Walker
I have to say that R500 look alike was not what came to mind when I saw this car. Edited by - Rob walker on 1 Sep 2001 17:36:

J P
To reply to the various comments / questions regarding my car; firstly, yes this car is very unique. in fact it is thought that Graham Hill drove it at Brands along with another seven prototype. Adding to its individualtiy is the fact that as far as I am aware it is the only bike-powered Lotus 7 to date. Granted, it is not indentical to a R500 which I beleive costs atleast £30K whereas mine is a £10K car going very cheap at £8,500. Add to this that this car will outperform many Caterhams costing at least twice as much. If you are looking for a fast & safe trackday or extreme road car, please call to make a genuine enquiry. tel. 01264 860764 / 07967 180199 I will not be replying to any other postings, however positive or even narrow minded they are! Please call if interested, thanks James P
