Normans_Ghost
Ross, I'm not surprised you haven't had an answer. 22 pages on bloody oil is enough for anyone. Norman Verona, 1989 BDR 220bhp, Mem No 2166, the full story here Sorry Ross it's only 21 and it's gone to page 2 at last (but not for long I bet) If both oils say they can be mixed then it's ok. I wouldn't on the basis that engines are a lot dearer than oil. Edited by - nverona on 19 Oct 2004 09:07:
Dannyboy
I suggest that you put in some mixed salad, herbs, feta cheese, a bit of vinegarette and drive for a while. Drop the sump and there you go! Perfectly mixed and tossed salad  Dannyboy - 97,500 miles and rising
thinfourth
can't see any reason why not its not as if you have it at racing revs all the time and a lot of the oil discussion is easily got round by changing the oil often enough as alot of the stuff they are banging on about refers to long term stuff so to sum up you can run the cheapest oil known to man as long as you warm your engine up properly and change it often enough. But i am a marine engineer not a chemist so i am sure someone would come along and shoot me down in flames Sod the heater wheres my shades

Debert
Did you build airfix planes as a kid, and fill the german ones with cotton wool before you glued the fuselage together. So when it is finished, you could fill it with meths and throw it off the top balcony of the flats over the road, watching it spiral in smoke & flames then crash into a massive explosion of melted flaming plastic when it hit the ground  No - Oh it must be me then  At last - The insurance company have got their finger out 😬 See the old Barbarella here...
