DougieB
Can anyone suggest why no power is getting to the fuel pump ? I've checked earth points, wire continuity, inertia switch and fuses. All seems to be in order. Any suggestions ?
Blatman
Wire continuity is not the whole story. If you can, measure the resistance........... If it's a Facet red top pump, change it for something altogether nmore reliablewink.gif
Chelspeed
The fuel pump is one of the circuits that is cut by my vecta immobiliser. If you have an aftermarket bolt on immobiliser then try putting a separate 12V supply direct from battery to pump and see if it works then. Oh and my red top is brilliant but it's nearly 20 years old so I guess that nowadays they're not made like they were in the good old days.
stevefoster
For not so old 7's the fuse is common with the blower. If you haven't found it already... It's right at the top of the fuse block hidden by a bit of the loom. Another solution is to run a new wire.....
