simon clark
Hi Dave, You have been recommended as a good person to talk to about set-up on a Superlight R! Is it possible to give you a call to discuss? If its not too cheeky, drop me an email at simon.clark@thomson.com with your number and I will get in touch. Cheers Simon
EFA
Dave is generally a head of most in terms of setup. ❗ 😬 😳 Edited by - EFA on 16 Oct 2004 17:51:
Rob Walker
Simon, When I asked a well known race team a similar question I was politely to to P*** off . Why tell the world the secrets of your success, also some competitors will deliberately tell you duff info and send you down the wrong path. mav
Bit Harsh Rob, esp. as someone has recommended Simon talks to Dave, Esp. as he is new here...
Rob Walker
Not trying to be harsh Mav, sorry if I came over that way. Ment say that exact settings of the successfull are usually a closely guarded secret and are subjective in any case the best one can hope for is some good samaritan point you in the right direction. I have to say that this has not been my experience. Dave is one of the good guy`s and will no doub`t offer genuine help.
mav
Agreed Rob . Setup is a very personal thing. I currently have my car set up to understeer on the road, and become netural to slightly oversteery on track. I am going to play with my set up over the winter, in association with a race engineer who hopefully will be able to turn my ramblings into some sensible settings on the car. Proof of the pudding etc...
