MrTrilby
First trackday in my new (to me) Superlight was amazing fun, but a number of people reported to me that my reverse light comes on briefly between gear changes. I'm not that technically minded and not overly worried, but does anyone have any ideas of simple things to check? Is there a switch in the gearbox that's reasonable accessible to check or should I just live with it? Oh, and you already know, but what an amazing revelation driving a 7 as compared to a tintop! CHRIS CLARK
I would suspect that the switch (located at the rear RHS of the 6 Sp box) is just brushing the selectors. I would guess that a washer under the switch would put it out of range of spurious operation but allow it to function correctly when reverse is engaged. It could of course just be a dodgy, sensitive switch!!! If req., I can send you a jpg of the location.
