O/T Fender Jazz bass - stuff added

Recommended Posts

I know there are a few musicians around so here goes:

Fender Mexico Jazz bass in white with white pick-guard. Around 2 years old, completely spotless and perfect. Wonderful tone. Nice slim neck.

I now have five bass guitars (and can play none of them that well!). Need to get rid of one to upgrade my Fender Precision Lyte which plays really well but is a horrible colour (tobacco burst, I call it nappy burst) and is hampered by active pickups. Not as nice sounding as passives in my opinion. Want to re-finish and fit Seymour Duncans.

Asking £295.00 for the Jazz.

Also a Zoom BFX-708 multi-effects box. Cost around £100.00. Will take £50.00.

Also for sale:

Marshall B25 M-II (25 watt) practice amp £60.00. VGC

Washburn 5 string bass in black. 6 months old. £175.00

Nifty

I have a very nice fretless Yamaha. Sounds wonderful. I would only sell it if I could find a better one.

Going to Rome next Wednesday for a week. Why don't you pop 'round before I go and borrow some stuff to play with. You could take the amp, the five string and the fretless. Try before you buy!

A "very nice fretless Yamaha" sounds out of my pocket money burning range but I'll have a look.

Not sure if I'll get your way before you go away but no problem.. I haven't had any instrument out for months and months..keep threatening to join my mate on his guitar for a gig or two in the local (if I can stay sober!)

The fifth string..is it lower or higher, ie. strung B,E,A,D,G or E,A,D,G,C.

Keep off the straight and narrow *tongue* 😬

Unlikely to be able to make the weekend..I'll chat after you're back.

Nifty.

Edited because I always spot the spelling/grammatical errors after I've posted *mad*
