Mark Piper Posted October 31, 2004 Share Posted October 31, 2004 If you've been bid £10k for your car, that is good money for a 1.6 VX - I'd take that offer if I were you, otherwise you'll be left owning the car. It is very much a buyer's market out there and those buyers are better informed and more cautious when it comes to parting with their money than ever before. I've just sold a 115bhp 20k miles 1997 Roadsport for £9500, which I thought was the right money for the car - it did have flared wings, cloth seats and chrome pack and was priced in recognition that not everyone wants a car with those accoutrements.
