Petrolhead
The pipr that comes from near the tip of the filler. How long should it be. The reason I ask is that its very short (1ft) and I keep gettting a strong smell of petrol when driving. Any thoughts or suggestions R500 no 65 😬
Support Team Shaun_E Posted October 7, 2004 Support Team Share Posted October 7, 2004 It should be long enough to drop though the hole in boot floor - mines about 12" long too. Lots of people get petrol coming out of the breather on hard cornering (especially on track). The racers use a very long pipe which they run up the roll bar upright and then back down to the hole in the floor. This prevents petrol from escaping under cornering but also reduces the likelihood of petrol spilling in the event of a roll over. Yellow SL #32 Edited by - Shaun_E on 7 Oct 2004 10:42:
