Has anyone got for sale a late ie 2000 onwards caterham with a blown motor, as I am seriously considering a duratec project.

Seriously, you will be very very lucky. Most (bike) engine replacement project builders buy an old one with a wheezy crossflow, which they throw away. Duratecs won't easily go in such a chassis for a variety of reasons so they are built on new chassis. Good luck.
