hugh Posted October 6, 2004 Share Posted October 6, 2004 I am looking for a complete bare engine (no carbs manifolds, starermotors etc required) a tired old 1600 or 1700 unit would do, put its price should reflect its condition.ideally I,m looking for a 145-150bhp unit with a decent set of pistons & head, 244 cam, all lightened and balanced etc. (a rubber engine would be okay) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Chris Brain Posted October 6, 2004 Share Posted October 6, 2004 I've got a Vulcan 145 bhp spec engine 1700 Xflow with about 150 miles on the clock I was thinking of selling. Spec is 1700, new cast pistons with machined valvepockets, 244 cam (brand new),lightened balanced (with clutch), HD con rod bolts, duplex timing chain, new AP clutch. Complete with receipts etc Not sure what the going price is (I was just going to put it on ebay) but if its the type of thing you're after then email me or give me a call on 01827 705690.
