Mrs GTD
NOOOOooooooo!!!! Eggs (fried, boiled, poached & scrambled) should never be sullied with anything (including brown & red sauce, balsamic or malt vinegar) except lots of freshly ground mixed pepper and a little salt. Chips should be dunked in a mixture of tomato ketchup & mayo. Brown sauce goes under cheese on toast. Bacon & sossidges should be left on the pig. I thank you. 😬 Mrs GTD

Violet Elizabeth
Surely you need butter (a walnut sized piece for 2 eggs according to Escoffier) for Scrambled eggs ? The birth of the Gixxerham : pics here drivel here

La vache espagnole
😳 I only climbed in here because I thought it would be a safe place from which to disagree with Mav... Anyway, the correct sauces are (of course) red for chips, brown for bacon , and.... sauceidges is trickier, as there are so many varieties. I think I'd go for a bit of dijon mustard for culinary finesse. Trubble is, all this talk of bacon and sossidge and stuff has turned my drool glands up to maximum... 😳 nothing... Violet Elizabeth
I had tomato soup, some nurofen and sore throat sweets. None of which required sauce of any kind. And there was nothing on the hotel tv apart from BBC world. Which gets a bit boring after you have watched the same news for the 4th time ☹️ Particularly as one news item was about yesterdays BA flight from Berlin getting diverted to Amsterdam after a bomb threat Excuse me for wallowing in self pity 😬 The birth of the Gixxerham : pics here drivel here

Hibster.
They'd never let Tam have something sharp like a pen, surely they'll just provide some nice, safe wax crayons.
