Area Representative Golf Juliet Tango Posted September 30, 2004 Area Representative Share Posted September 30, 2004 If only I had spare cash. Been thinking of a BEC for a while (I should have done this instead of a xflow rebuild). Two Sevens is probably OTT!
EvoDunc
Is this an official Caterham car, like the 24 Blades that were made by James Whiting? Also, please can you email me some pics. Cheers, Duncan, Evo Magazine
Trevor Crowter
Evodunc, thanks for the reply. Yes, it's an 'original' Caterham Blackbird - Caterham supplied modified chassis to Doug Newman/Paul Harvey at 4 Wheel Motorcycle company/Blackbird motorsport and they initially built them - mine is one of these. Caterham worked closely with Paul and Doug in the development. I'm not certain what happens with James Whiting but I think it is a very similar arrangement. I'll happily send you some pictures but I don't seem to be able to get at your email address - perhaps you can email it to me at crowter@aol.com. Regards. Trevor Crowter
Quite a bit of interest - thanks - but no-one has actually bought it yet! I'm now putting it on Pistonheads to widen the audience. Trevor
