Tarek
A bit of a simple question, but does anyone know how to stop the headlight shells from corroding? I've bought some shiny new ones to fit, but don't want them to rust up. Any ideas/top tips?
Noel Mclaughlin
Spray them carefully with dwf, wrap them up in an oiled cloth and carefully store them in a dry place. Works everytime. OR you could live in a bright sunny place like OZTRALIA mate, where it doesn't p**s rain everyday and make things go rusty
CHRIS CLARK
The outsides of mine are fine, except where the fixing/attachment spindle goes through the bracket and then out the other side. You can't see it normally; it's only when you are driving which means it just annoys ME !!! The inside of the shells also tend to corrode (where moisture gets trapped), so a thin smear of grease (I just use general purpose) all over the inside stops that problem.
