12k Service

Ive got a 1.6 k factory built, on a 52 reg, Ive had my inital and 6k carried out at Dartford but Im wondering if the cost of the 12k service is worth the Caterham stamp in the book. 🤔

I don't believe a book of Caterham stamps will ensure a better price 😳

The 12k service is basically an oil change and a spanner check. Here is the service schedule. I had my first service done at Caterham but that was the full 24,000 mile one and I'd only had the car 6 months. I now do my own servicing. If you have any intention of selling the car in the near future then a full Caterham service history might make it easier to sell, especially to a non-tinkerer.

I would'nt part with the Se7en, it took me long enough to get it, but I see where your going. Get the spanners out and do it myself. I could always keep the receipt for the consumables, oil, filter etc and put them in the book if the unthinkable was ever to raise its head.. Many thanks P
