Ferrino Posted September 22, 2004 Share Posted September 22, 2004 I have a chrome roll bar for a Live Axle Long Cockpit for sale, in mint condition. It appears to have been custom made, as I have not seen a similar item on a Caterham. The main 'hoop' is of a much greater diameter than the puny standard item (and even the FIA bar) and the 'struts' actually mount onto a different part of the chassis to the FIA bar struts. I believe it is also taller than the standard FIA bar - can measure this if you like. Main hoop diameter = 45mm Strut diameter = 26mm Please e-mail me for photos and to discuss price (looking for £100). For collection from Abingdon, near Oxford. I don't think it would pass as an FIA bar for trackday regulations though, unless the rules are based on the dimensions of the rollbar rather than the specific model.
