EFA
In the build manual it states that the spacer should go between the upright and the spherical joint, not between the spherical joint and the machined nut (to which it fits beautifully). Can soemone confirm which way round it goes, and if the spacer is inserted above the spherical joint to change the geometry or something..... thx Fat Arn See a meaty Vauxhall car here See the Le Mans Trip Website here See the Lotus Seven Club North Kent Website here
tbhall777
The spacer has the same internal diameter as the spherical joint. The outside diameter of the turned down nut has the same external diameter as above. The spacer goes above the sperical joint. Lubricate the turned down area of the nut with grease to ease fittment and reduce chances of it corroding to the sperical joint. It is a geometry alteration.
