robmar
thanks BB no harewood ☹️ or is that possibly the 'northern venue' what islikely to be the 'midlands venue' pity about lydden, mind you it always rains there anyway rob
david nelson
please can the northen venue be close to Leeds as it means I can go racing while the family visit the mother in-law. Harewood would be great if its just 1 day, on trhe other hand to 2 days would keep me out of the grips of my mother in-law 😬 David
Andy. N
Lydden is too far and too early (read too cold!) for all those lightweight northerners 😬. Actually, to be fair, it also seems too far and too cold for most lightweight southerners too. Lets hope any additional events take place below the arctic circle (ie Watford). Championship to be re-named: The Lotus 7 Club 2005 Ends of the Earth Speed Championship 😬 Looks good BB - I dare say i'll be at most (if not all) of them Andy Nicholls C7 AJN
Steve Robinson
Looks good to me BB How about a Bedfordshire venue? I live in a square that is about .25 of a mile round. I'm sure we could close that off if it helps, I'll even do coffee and bacon rolls 😬 Steve
robmar
Steve - you are on what about camping 🤔 I guess the problem for lydden is that there are very few competitors in the south east, even though there are lots of caterham owners I will miss lydden if we don't go but it ain't the end of the world (well it is if you are coming from up north) From reading it is always a 2 hour plus journey to any venue on the calendar... maybe I need a merc estate to cut the travel times down 😬 rob
christian.v
No joy with the excellent Longcross track then 🤔

Purple Ronnie
Hi Graham When I spoke to you at the last Curboro meet (when me and Mr Motts helped out) you said that their maybe a novice championship is that still the case? Simon
Silver 21
In answer to Specific Points: *arrowright*Waiting for an answer from Harewood *arrowright*waiting for an answer from Longcross These would be additional to the list already *thumbup* *thumbup* Crooky, yes there will be a novice championship running within the existing classes, only open to people who have never sprinted before and their first year with an MSA licence Graham Competition Secretary 2004 Speed Championship - 9 events, 2005 Speed Championship - Watch this space

Mark Durrant
BB I realise that Longcross is South of Watford and therefore outside of your radar but I think you will find that it is near to Chertsey in Surrey and not Cheam. However, it is run by the Sutton & Cheam Motor Club . Sorry to see that Lydden is no longer on the calendar but as Longcross is closer its a good relacement Is there still a chance of a sprint at Harewood 🤔 Mark D Su77on Se7ens Considering my options for 2005
RichardO
Oh nuts, now I'm going to have to decide whether to run in my usual longcross class (got a position to defend from last year!) or in the L7C class R
