GTD
YOUNG MOTORISTS INVITED TO MARCH TO SAFER DRIVING Are they holding this ChavFest in March especially to help this so called Mark Miller (clearly a pseudonym) to write his pieces . Shame it wasn't in Lancashire where there's apparently a place called Trashy Hill - and another one called Killcrash! Mrs GTD
aimed at young drivers aged between 16-25yrs Presumably the 16 year olds come on their skate boards And wouldn't they all be better off driving to safer driving rather than marching Trashy Hill 🤔 Lancashire 🤔 Isn't that where you're from, GTD 🤔 😬 Mrs GTD

Boonie Hound
Pah critics 😬 16 year olds ride mopeds and often, especially in Fenland, want to learn to drive as soon as 17. Getting them early and educating them is a good way of improving their road skills and helping prevent and accident. 😬 Indeed it's in March - the place - not the month. 😬
GTD
😬 😬 😬 😬 I guess there are special Fennie topics: Should you replace your toolbox with a big chunk of metal to beat your car with? Why DO all the roads have bouncy undulations round here? A pile of turnips by the road, or a useful navigation mark? Siberian weather - not just in Siberia! Dannyboy
Oi Dixon!! Oi'll kick yer arsssseee laters...Less o the fen bashin!! In response: Big metal stick...yes!!! Trust me, I'm an engineer..the harder you hit things the better they work!! 😬 😬 Fens - Undulations!! they're hills in the Fens!! Turnips - 🤔 🤔 🤔 More likely to be sugaar beet round them paaarts Siberian weather - It ain't that cold up there...It's north, but not grim north!! *eek* Dannyboy - 95,000 miles and rising Oh...Hastings station has JUST opened..YIPEEEEEEE!!!!!! 18 months of hard graft!!! Boonie Hound
😬 😬 😬 I would agree with Dan but as we are both from the fens I thinks its best if we gang up against "those from not around these parts" and then fight each other. The undulations are there, it seems, so that people can pick up tremendous speed and take off - thus missing the ditches and landing in fields. GTD
I take it all back - in my quest for a suitable road car for me and Mrs GTD to add to our garage should I de-register the Caterham, I found these boys in March! here Do any of our esteemed Fenland residents know of them? > G 4 Geoff Leather Good - Carbon Fibre Bad 619 GTD here Edited by - GTD on 9 Sep 2004 10:32:
Boonie Hound
Just down the road from me - I often drive the extra quarter mile just to have a look. The garage doesn't look quite that impressive from the road though.

GTD
Boonie - I think the Landie is more likely to be visiting you than the 7 (what with the siberian weather conditions up there, and Mrs GTD's aversion to being in a car with no seat, windscreen, heater etc - see Posts Passim!)
