Tiny Tim Posted September 2, 2004 Share Posted September 2, 2004 This is a bit of a long shot and a bit cheeky but I need a set (4) of 13" wheels and tyres to borrow for one day to try and get through SVA. The problem I have is that my rebuilt HPC on 16" wheels has just failed SVA on Speedo accuracy (displaying less than actual speed) and one suggestion (from CC) is to use smaller wheels for the test. The tyres would need to be road legal and rated to 130mph. Wheels would only be used for the trip to and from the SVA station (Weymouth to Taunton and back) which is about 100 miles. Anybody in the Dorset/Hampshire/Somerset area with a set of wheels in the garage that they would be willing to lend me? Car is a De dion with disc brakes front and rear. SVA retest is scheduled for next Wednesday (8/9). Any help greatly appreciated.
