Rust Red Seven
Mines a 2.0l zetec with mk 9 box 5 speed and i think a mk2 escort bellhousing. Seized at cudworth 4 weeks ago and on hols for 3 so head off carbs etc to see the damage sump off no 2 seized so sump on and engine and box out. Would have tried splitting in the car but frunt pulley seized to crank as its been there 8 years found that out on timing belt change 4 months ago. So lifted it all out in a oner no pully off i will try and install them seperatly. Engine hoist is very usefull or a couple of strong mates, but they do come out easily once all the ancillaries are off good luck see you around on a blat sometime Rust Red

F355GTS
Rust Red Is it a cable clutch? if so you can just pull the lower part of the arm away from the bellhousing, it is held in with a small bit of tubing over the pin or you can lever the CRB off the arm, it's held on by two small clips, one on either side, it's got to come off anyway and as a matter of course should be replaced Mark
Paul D Jones
If it's the cable type buy a new one and all will become clear two little barbed clips that push through the arm and need pushing in to release the CRB. Rust Red Seven
Thanks guys will dissapear head long into the garage of engine bits and play with the two spring tingys behind the yoke. I have done BMC clutches and the pin that holds the end away from the actuator unscrews to release the yoke and bearing assembly. Clutch plate and pressure plate are ok and good for another 30k plus, but release bearing and crannk roller bearing are shot so replacement is a must. Thanks for the assistance Rust Red
