robmar
as in personal bests do you count practice runs 🤔 or is it only the runs that count that are eleigible for PB's i suspect the later unfortunatelty ☹️ rob
Mark Durrant
Rob In my opinion practice runs cannot be included in respect of a PB as it is the competition that really matters. That said it is always good to know what you are capable of and therefore you can guage how well you are driving. Mark D Su77on Se7ens
robmar
thought so, but that is even worse knowing I didn't manage to hold it together for the timed runs ☹️ I thought my 62.49 in practice was quite reasonable, so my Pb for curbugger remains as May 63.09 ☹️ rob
Mrs Kipper
Rob Same here. Did a 65.30 in practice but could not better this in the timed runs. I was on for a very quick one on the last run of the day but got Molehill completely wrong the second time round and blew it. Still, there's always next year 😬 Kipper Fun is not a straight line. Graham Perry
Ditto for me in general. I am guilty of leaving my best times on the scorebox floor, as they were not in technically in competition. ☹️ Edited by - Graham Perry on 31 Aug 2004 17:38:
Mrs Kipper
Mrs K here. ECR: Thanks. Yes, I was very pleased with my final run. I believe evidence of how pleased can be seen on Nick's video 😬. I had been struggling all weekend to get under 76secs and when the rain came I thought all hopes of achieveing my target were dashed. ☹️ However, the weather improved and Richard Price's stunning class-winning time convinced me that the track was completely dry . So I scored double figures in the championship for the first time this season 😬. While I am here I woul;d just like to say thank you to: The organisers and marshals and other helpers without whom these events wouldn't happen. The club members who come to support and so willingly help when asked. The competitors whose camaraderie makes the day so much fun. Richard Price for convincing me that the track was dry. The Heseltine family for the comfortable accommodation on Saturday. Well done to all the winners especially to Rachael.
