I'm as excited as an excited thing, 'cos I've fancied a Landy for a long time. We were at Rockingham at the weekend (BTW, a creditable 9th for GTD, who masterfully picked his way through the car-nage at the start) and some friends of ours said they were selling their LR, and it was just too tempting... Mrs GTD Posted August 30, 2004 Author Share Posted August 30, 2004 ☹️ sadly I don't actually get my new toy here until October, as the current owners need it to move house and tow their 7 to and from race tracks. It's a 1962 Series IIa SWB, in blue with a cream (safari) roof. I'm learning an awful lot about Landies, having bought Land Rover Owners mag.
