AP Replacement Seals

Didn't reply earlier because I don't know the answer.

 

These are the black calipers I think, judging by the 2000 date and the single bolt comment. I have the earlier silver AP 4 pots and these are part no CP3876. I'm sure I recall someone saying the piston diameters are the same for the new and old calipers so perhaps the repair kits are the same?

Mike I suggest you send the calipers to John Freeth of Performance Braking Tel 01600 713117. Its only too easy to scratch the caliper bores when inserting the pistons by not being able to keep the piston in line with the bore. He will be able to supply you with the correct seals if you want to do the job yourself.

Or if you're in Stratford (see I did learn something from school...) then perhaps BG Developements in Bromsgrove. They're an AP agent and just down the road for you. Very friendly, knwledgeable and helpful (as is John Freeth in Monmouth of course).
