Ballast Posted August 25, 2004 Share Posted August 25, 2004 The plan to get the 7 back together and the MOT done by tomorrow afternoon has taken a backward step....the fuel pump is fubar'd... Spent too long trying to make it work....and lost time on the rest.... ☹️ Will have to try and source a new pump tomorrow...and finish the job tomorrow night...and then get the MOT done on Friday..... And using fly leads with sparks coming out of the end to test the pump And hammering the pump to try and release it and watching dave Fender suck on the pump then pull a face not normally healthy when he got a lungful of something stale nasty pump... am tired this morning now and I didn't even work as hard as eveyone else on it! my contribution to the evening - did up a few of gordon's nuts, soldered a watsit, based a ew thingies and pointed and made "ooooh" and 🤔 noises.
