cortell
You said offers and there have been no takers so far (-: BTW I saw one for sale for not much more than this a while back which is what I based my offer on. How many miles has it done? I am genuinely interested at the right price. How much are you looking for it? Cheers Kelvin.
WDervish
Kelvin I had an offer for £300 - but the chap managed to find a good VHPD head for V good money - therefore went for that. (Unsurprising really !!) The head is ~ 1 year old - it came out of a front end damaged MGF - which had covered ~20 000 miles. The head is complete - in fact it is still on the bottom end, with intake manifold, throttle body cams, lifters wiring loom, even spark plugs !! The reason i have it spare is because i want to put a 1400 super sprint head/cams etc (which i have lying around) on the 1800 bottom end. It'll be in Low flying next month, I'm not really in a rush to get rid. Chris CLP

CHRIS CLARK
cporritt. As an Aston Martin person, you didn't happen to know a Nick McCormick by any chance (he left about a year ago)?
cortell
Chris, Where did you get the new VVC head from at that price? CLP, All I really want is the head. My plan being to ditch the VVC gubbins and convert it to a normal head prior to porting etc. This is quite a costly excercise in itself and it's only worth doing if you can get the VVC head at the right price. You might get 300 quid for it but I actually think that is too high based on what I've seen for sale elsewhere. However, if you are in no hurry somebody will buy it from you at the price you want no doubt. If not, and you decide that you want to get rid of it anyway, I'd still be interetested. Kelvin.
