Ballast Posted August 21, 2004 Share Posted August 21, 2004 getting the 7 into one piece..... Yeah right...I here you all cry....you've been saying that for the last 10 months ... .... However PP has an entry to Curborough next Sunday...and currently...the 7 has ... no engine in it.. or gearbox... or seats... or boot floor.... or electrics.... or steering... or brakes.... BUT....it does have very nice AVO dampers ...hmmmmm....oh....and seeing as PP is in a road legal class....it has NO MOT..and NO ROAD TAX...anybody in Class 3 may like to put their protest in to me now to avoid getting PP's hopes up!!!! 😬 😬 We are going to have a really fun weekend!!!!! 😬 😬 😬 😬 😬 ...and Monday night ...and Tuesday night ...and Wednesday night ....and Thursday night ....and Friday night.... Industrial supplies of Curly Wurlies will be required methinks.... Engine and box hopefully in by the end of the day.... Anybody know how to plumb in a fuel tank Mav....in theory the car should be MOT'd and taxed by Friday evening but there may have to be some fine tuning (!!! )...we won't have time on Saturday coz of the Marshall's Sprint....do you get the feeling this is going to be tight!!!! Tomorrow we do fluids!!! Engine oil....Gearbox oil...Dif oil.... coolant...and brake fluid..... ....oh and seats....!!! WE CAN rebuild it....
